Pinkfresh Studio Petal Poise

Pinkfresh Studio Petal Poise

Posted by Melanie Smith on

Hi Friends,

DT Melanie here from Melanie Smith Stamps. Today, I am here to share with you how to make a beautiful floral card using the Pinkfresh Studio Petal Poise suite. We'll explore stamping, heat embossing, and die cutting techniques to create a delicate handmade card with ease. Now let's take a look at the card we will be creating together.

For my stamping, I heat embossed the Petal Poise stamp set using gold embossing powder to set the mood for an elegant look. I just knew with these classy sentiments in this stamp set, that was the feeling I was wanting to create.

After heat embossing the flowers and sentiment, I hot foiled the Interlaced Press Plate to create a coordinating gold backdrop for our card. Using the coordinating Interlaced die, I die cut it out along with two other blanks as we can glue them together to create depth and dimension on our card.

To color the stamped flowers, I used the matching stencils along with beautiful inks from Pinkfresh Studio in hues of purple and greens. Once complete, I die cut them and arranged them on the card to finish the desired look.

Join me over on YouTube for a full card making tutorial and let's Craft Life Together.
