HI crafty friends - it's Simeen from @simeen-creates! Life has been pretty busy lately, so when I finally had the chance to sit down and create, I was so excited to just be still and color for a bit. Today’s card features the Happily Ever After Wishes stamp and die set from Gina K. Designs, and it was the perfect set to reach for during a quiet creative moment.

I started by stamping the large floral image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, since it works great with alcohol markers. Once that was done, it was time to pick my Copic colors. I wanted to keep everything soft and sweet, so I chose a light pastel palette using G20, YG61, R20, and R32.

Coloring isn’t my expertise, but it’s something I truly love doing. I find it relaxing and enjoy the process more than worrying about perfection. My approach is pretty simple—I start by laying down the lightest color first, then add in the darker shade for some depth, and finally bring the lighter color back in to help everything blend together.

After finishing the floral coloring, I stamped out a sentiment. This stamp set is filled with the sweetest sentiments, and I chose “wishing you a lifetime of love & happiness.” It felt like the perfect match for the flower.
Next up was die cutting! I knew I wanted to add some dimension, so I die cut both the flower and the sentiment three times each. Once everything was cut, I started playing around with the layout. Since the flower is fairly large, I decided it would look best framed. Using Gina K. Designs Master Layouts 18, I created a frame to showcase the floral image and give it a finished look.

Once I was happy with the placement, I glued everything down so it almost looks like a little picture frame. To finish off the card, I added a few silver pearls for some extra shine and elegance—and just like that, the card was done!
This card was such a joy to make and a wonderful reminder of how nice it is to slow down and enjoy some creative time, especially during busy seasons of life. Thanks so much for stopping by today—I hope this card inspires you to carve out a little crafty time for yourself too!
