I really love anything Easter! The spring colors, bunnies, and decorative baskets; I am there to get my hands on it. When I first laid eyes on the Lawn Fawn Eggstra Amazing Easter collection, I bought it. I wanted to create a simple and colorful card. So here it is.
*A good tip idea is to stamp all the images that you are going to use, color them, and die cut them. This will make it easy to place your cut outs to any future projects.
Step 1: I cut a blue cardstock at 4 1/4 x 11 inches. I then scored it at 5 1/2 inches. I used a blue pattern paper to cut out the biggest egg die from the Lawn Fawn Outside In Easter Egg Stackables to use as the background. I then used 80lb Neenah Solar White cardstock to cut out the second to largest egg stackables.
Step 2: With the second to largest egg stackables, I used the Tim Holtz Oxide in Cracked Pistachio to blend it onto the bottom third portion of the egg cut out with an ink blender.
After adding cracked Pistachio, I blended in Mowed Lawn using the regular Distress Ink. I think this combination made the green color I was looking for. For the top half of the egg, I used Tumbled Glass using regular Distress Ink.
Step 3: Since my images were already colored and died cut, I simply added Tombow Mono liquid glue on the bunny, lay it down flat onto the colored egg. I then used small pieces of 3M foam adhesive, added it to the little chick and the bundle of colorful eggs.
Step 4: I used Wink of Stella in clear to add a little bit of glitter
to the bundle of eggs.
Step 5: I used a white embossing powder for the sentiment "Happy Easter" from the collection
Happy Crafting!
