Floral Fancy Envelopes

Floral Fancy Envelopes

Posted by Kavya N on

Hi folks,

Kavya here with another fun project featuring Sizzix' newest collection - Brush Stroke Mini floral dies. This die set has everything you need to create fun floral projects. Instead of a card, I thought I had decorate an envelope with the dies :) Giving money as gifts during occasions like Birthdays, Weddings etc. is common in my culture. I saw some of the plain envelopes my mom was using and I thought why not create some fancy ones?

I started off by creating a boxed envelope using my envelope punch board. You can envelope dies, templates from the Internet or any pre-made envelopes for this project! I ran the envelope through Spellbinder's new 3D Tile Reflection embossing folder. PS: You will need the Universal Plate System for the embossing folder! I wasn't aware of this and I broke my die cutting machine :( Don't be me lol!

Then, I die cut a bunch of flowers from the die set and added details to them using Copic markers and a white gel pen.

I adhered all the pieces as shown below and added a sentiment from Spellbinders' Open Road to finish off my envelope. For the back, I decided to use a wax seal made from Spellbinders' Wax Seal Kit.

That's it folks! I hope you liked this project :)

Happy Crafting,

Kavya
