Hello and welcome to the ScrapbookPal Blog! This is April Leithner (@inkycreationswithapril) from the design team with you today. I used my favorite color combination to create today’s card. I think red, white and blue is striking and perfect for summer creating. The Gink K Designs Bouquet Frame Bundle is packed with gorgeous florals and sentiments. I love that bundle has dies for the many sentiments.
· Stamp and heat emboss the large wreath image from Gina K Designs Bouquet Frame Bundle Stamp Set using black ink and clear embossing powder. The wreath will not fit on an A2 panel so you will need a larger piece of white cardstock.
· Watercolor image using Distress Watercolor Pencils: leaves (Mowed Lawn Set #4 and Twisted Citron Set #2), flower centers (Mustard Seed Set #1), flowers (Prize Ribbon Set #2, Lumberjack Plaid Set #6, Festive Berries Set #4, Lost Shadow Set # 6).
· Stamp and heat emboss sentiment from Bouquet Frame Bundle Stamp Set using white embossing powder (with VersaMark Ink) on black cardstock.
· Die cut both the wreath and sentiment using dies in bundle.
· Create background on a 4 1/8x5 3/8” white panel. Splatter with Prize Ribbon and Lumberjack Plaid Distress Spritz. Let dry.
· Go direct to paper with Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide Ink Pad on an A2 panel of white cardstock.
· Tie White and Black Twine from Lawn Fawn around bottom of background panel. I wrapped it around a few times.
· Use foam squares to adhere wreath to card then double the foam squares to pop up the sentiment in center of wreath. Adhere this panel with foam squares to A2 panel that we created using the direct to paper method. Trim off any of the wreath hanging over edges.
· Adhere this to a top folding heavy weight card base.
· Lastly, scatter Color Essential Gems from Spellbinders in Denim and Red around card.
I think this wreath would be fabulous on a large square card. This bundle is packed with beautiful flowers and wonderful sentiments. There is even a magnet sheet for the coordinating dies. Make sure to check out the Gink K Designs Bouquet Frame Bundle on the ScrapbookPal website. Everything I used to create this card can be found there. Thanks for stopping by!
