Pinkfresh Studio Keepsakes of The Heart

Pinkfresh Studio Keepsakes of The Heart

Posted by Raquel Sanchez-Krohn on

Hello Crafters,

Raquel here from @paintsandglitter. I’m bringing you a quick and easy tutorial using the Keepsakes of the Heart collection from PinkFresh Studio. This gorgeous collection is comprised of delicate floral images, friendly sentiments and accompanying jars along with coordinating stencils, dies, and Betterpress plates.

Today's card focuses on the Betterpress plates.  Using heavy watercolor card and black ink I created pressed images for backgrounds and embellishments for my card. Using the coordinating stencils, I then blended different inks to create colorful and vibrant images. This was very easy and fun to do with the soft bristled brushes!

Lastly, I cut the images with the coordinating dies and also used the Dotted Fancy Frames dies to create complimentary layers with an additional pop of yellow and completed the card with a teal background layer. For a special touch, I also added sparkle and dimension using Nuvo Glitter Gloss, Pixie Dust Glitter Drops, and 3D foam squares. The results are astonishing! Here is a photo with a close look;

 I have a full video tutorial sharing the process. Please watch it for more details, including the Betterpress system, and subscribe to ScrapbookPal.com for more crafty content. The supply list below will help you shop for these awesome items!

Be inspired, Be Blessed,

RaquelSK @paintsandglitter
