Hello, there! It’s Colleen here, and today I’m sharing a floral thank you card featuring the Altenew Build-A-Garden: Harvest Bouquet set.
One of the things I love about the Build-A-Garden sets is that you get coordinating products that make it easy to create a detailed floral image. The Harvest Bouquet set includes a stamp, coordinating die, and layering stencils, which I used together to create the large floral arrangement on this card.
I started with the layering stencils, using ink blending to build up the colors in the flowers and leaves. Once all of the layers were complete, I stamped the coordinating outline over the ink-blended image. I love how adding the outline at the end brings all of the individual stencil layers together and adds definition to the bouquet.
I then used the coordinating die to cut out the finished bouquet and positioned it along the right side of a clean white card base. The large floral image has plenty of detail on its own, so I kept the rest of the card fairly simple and left plenty of white space to balance the arrangement.
For the sentiment, I paired the large script “grateful” from the die set with the smaller “for all you do,” from the stamp set. The black creates a strong contrast against the softer colors of the bouquet and gives the design another focal point across the center of the card.

Happy crafting!
