Hi everyone! It's Amanda from Twiddler's Nook today. I recently ordered the Lawn Fawn embroidery hello and thanks dies and couldn't resist making a bundle of cards at once. I decided on 3 of each style for fun. Here's how I made them:
1. Cut cardstock panels measuring 3x4 inches and ran then through my die cut machine with the hello and thanks embroidery dies.
2. I stitched each one with a coordinating color of thread using washi tape to hold the starting and ending tails in place.
3. Die cut 6 Lawn Fawn scalloped rectangles from white cardstock and lined the back with 1/8 inch scrappy tape, adhering each one to a stitched panel. Then covered the back with foam squares.
4. I dug through my stash and matched up various stamp sets I wanted to use with each panel. I stamped them all out and colored them one set at a time with my copics and used coordinating dies to cut them out.
5. I used different patterned papers for my backgrounds, cutting them out with the largest Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle so they all have a little decorative edge.
6. I adhered the various critters and accents with a combination of foam squares and liquid glue.
7. I love finishing touches so most cards have some Unicorn Stickles or Glossy Accents on various bits and pieces for added interest.
I hope you enjoyed today's cards and found a little inspiration to create something wonderful to share with the world.
I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!
