Hero Arts - North Pole Scenics

Hero Arts - North Pole Scenics

Posted by Irene Mejia on

Hello Friends! Irene here (@wheniinkofyou) today with a Christmas scene card made with the Hero Arts North Pole Scenics Bundle.

I began with blue cardstock. I stamped images from the stamp set onto blue cardstock with clear embossing ink. I poured Ranger
Silver Embossing Powder is over the ink and heat-set it. Next, I die-cut the images using the coordinating dies.

Using the same blue cardstock, I made an A2-sized panel. I used Catherine Pooler ink Dress Blues and inked the upper corners lightly towards the center. I used an ink dauber and a very light pad-to-paper technique to ink the panel.

I then added the die cuts to the inked panel. I glued the large Christmas tree, moon, star, Tis the season, and the gingerbread house directly to the panel with liquid glue. Next, I added the larger village die-cut with foam tape over the Christmas tree and gingerbread house. Then, I added Santa and his sleigh with a thin strip of foam tape.

Finally, I added stars/snow with Copic Opaque White paint with a paintbrush. I hope this tutorial inspires you! Thanks for reading along!
