Catherine Pooler Christmas

Catherine Pooler Christmas

Hello everyone!! Sarah (mother0froyalty on IG) here today and I hope your having a great day! I am here to share a card I made using some of the new Catherine Pooler christmas items. I chose to use the Yuletide embossing folder, the Greetings of the season stamps and then I also pulled in her Nested stitched banner dies.

I started by running all the papers I thought I might want to use through my sizzix with the Yuletide embosser. Once those were done I grabbed some distress oxides in colors that were a shade or two darker then my papers and rubbed the ink pads across the embossed area so that the color clung more to the raised area.

II took the nested stitched dies out and placed them on the area I wanted cut out on the papers I had embossed and colored. Once I had the three papers I had chose, I cut out banners to go behind each color out of silver glitter cardstock.

I pulled a patterned paper from my stash and used it as my card base, inked the edges with black soot distress oxide. Then I played with the arrangement of the banner pieces and started to stick them down.

I taped the red and pink one to the card base and trimmed the overhanging pieces before I added some 3D foam to the back of my blue banner and added it on top of the other two banners. I stamped out my sentiment and fussy cut it out, added a few foam dots to the end and glues the rest down. I pulled some of the Honey Bee stamps Sweet and Spooky gem stickers and places a few white ones here and there on my banner piece and call this card done!

I really hope you enjoyed this card and how it turned out! Make sure to check the links below to find all the amazing products!
