Honey Bee Stamps- Bees and Bonnets

Honey Bee Stamps- Bees and Bonnets

Posted by Irene Mejia on

Hello, crafty friends! Irene here with a scene card using the Honey Bee Stamps Bees and Bonnets Stamps, Dies, and Stencils. Let's get started!

To begin, I created the background of the flowers using an A2 panel. I blended It's a Boy! at the top of the panel. Next, I used Sixteen Candles, It's a Girl, and Limoncello at the bottom of the panel.

I stamped the Bees and Bonnets stamps in Black Jack gray ink. I used the stencils to ink the images. I used the following ink colors: Be Mine, Pucker Up, Pixie Dust, Grape Crush, Tiki Torch, Glitz, Catching Rays, Limoncello, Chiffon, Something Borrowed, Suede Shoes, Lime Rickey, and Grass Skirt. I used the lighter-shaded inks to color the entire image and the darker colors to blend shaded areas.

I added highlights with a white gel pen and used the coordinating dies to die-cut them. I stamped the sentiment in the set in Honey Bee Stamps Intense Black ink. I added two floral die-cuts directly to the panel with liquid glue and two using foam tape. I added a hummingbird and butterfly to the scene. Finally, I added Celebration pearl stickers from Honey Bee Stamps.

Thanks for reading along!
