Hello crafters! Today we’re crafting with Honey Bee Stamps Maker’s Mix. These items focus on the beautiful art of sewing and knitting, including a fun stencil set with delicate images, coordinating dies and a beautiful selection of stamped sentiments. An additional die set is also available for the sentiments seen below.
To begin, using two pieces of white paper, color in images using soft bristle brushes and the collection of stencils. Begin with the first stencil, and slowly add more details while varying the colors until you’ve used all six layers. Stamp a sentiment in the center of one of the embroidery hoop images. The photo included below will show you a selection of inks I’ve used from Pinkfresh Studios.
Once you’ve completed coloring images, cut and adhere matting layers as per the the legend above. Cut select images out of the remaining paper using the coordinating dies. To assemble the card, first score and fold the base layers as seen in the photo. Use the stencils to color three edges of the base layer as shown in the video tutorial. Adhere the matting layers onto the base, beginning with the small card, the bottom matting layer, and an additional lavender panel to complete the card. Add dimension by adhering three foam squares along the bottom of the card, and topping them off with the yarn, embroidery hoop, scissors, and the sentiment. Use a white gel pen and crystal glaze to add shine and highlights to the colored images. The card should sit on a table top once opened as shown in the photo. All supplies are listed below, and I invite you to subscribe to ScrapbookPal’s YouTube channel for more ideas using beautifully selected card-making brands. Thank you for your comments and support!
