Honey Bee Stamps | Nancy’s Lilac Bouquet

Honey Bee Stamps | Nancy’s Lilac Bouquet

Posted by Colleen Beamish on

Hi there! It’s Colleen Beamish here from @humorbean_cards. Today I’m sharing a clean and simple easel card featuring Nancy’s Lilac Bouquet stamps and dies from Honey Bee Stamps.

I stamped the main floral image using Gina K Amalgam Obsidian Ink and enjoyed using copic markers to color it in. I did the same for the crate image, then glued them together.

The key to this card is the card base. To create the easel, I cut down a piece of white, 110 lb. card stock to 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”. I then used a score board to score at 2 1/8” and 4 1/4”. By folding at these lines, the paper is folded in half and then the card front is folded in half again.

To make the easel free-standing, I used the die that coordinated with the sentiment, “You make a difference.” I cut that out four times, only stamping the sentiment on one of the die cuts. I glued these die cuts together creating a thick sentiment strip and glued this to the inside, or bottom panel, of the easel card. The top folded portion can now be tucked above the sentiment to keep the easel in place.

To the entire card making process, be sure to check out the video on YouTube:

Happy crafting!
