Pinkfresh Studio - Butterflies in Bloom - Birthday Card

Pinkfresh Studio - Butterflies in Bloom - Birthday Card

Posted by Safia Suchan on

Hello Crafters, Its Safia @stampinwithsafia here today sharing a birthday card I made using the Pink Fresh Studio's Butterflies in Bloom stampset and dies. I have made a full video tutorial for this card so be sure to check it out here:

I decided to do something a little different with this card. I had seen a lot of samples using the stencil and I know I have colored lots of different flowers for you cards so I thought I'd share a new technique. For this card I used some shimmery vellum paper and heat embossed the flower image onto it with white embossing powder to create a complete new look for this stamp set.

I used Lawn Fawns Lacy Rectangle Dies to frame my flowers and then matted it onto some beautiful woodgrain patterned paper. I love that the patterned paper had some pink in it to really bring out the pink embossed flowers. In real life these flowers look so shimmery!

Thanks so much for joining us today on the blog. Don't forget to check in and see what the rest of the designers are up to. Have a fabulous day!
