Lawn Fawn Critters in the Desert

Lawn Fawn Critters in the Desert

Posted by Katherine Cartwright on

Hi there! This is Katherine sharing a card I made using the Lawn Fawn Desert Canyon Backdrop die as well as the Lawn Fawn Critters in the Desert Stamps and Lawn Fawn Critters in the Desert Dies.

I began by die cutting the Lawn Fawn Desert Canyon Backdrop from white card stock.

I used Rusty Hinge and Gathered Twig Distress ink to blend the top of the Lawn Fawn Canyon Desert Backdrop die cut. I then used Antique Linen, Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Distress Inks to blend the bottom of my canyon.

Next, I stamped all the Lawn Fawn Critters in the Desert images using Memento Tuxedo Black onto Copic friendly card stock. I colored all my images using the following Copic Sketch Markers:

E07, E08, G20, YG23, YG67, YG63, G46, C1, C2, C4, C6, E31, E33, E35, E27,Y18, R11

Once I completed all the coloring, I used the Lawn Fawn Critters in the Desert dies to cut out my images.

I ink blended Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Candied Apple Distress inks onto a piece of yellow card stock to create the sunrise for my Canyon scene.

I adhered the Lawn Fawn Canyon Desert Backdrop die to the front of my yellow card stock with foam from the 3L Thin White Foam Squares Variety pack.

I stamped the sentiments on the yellow card stock as well as the Canyon Desert Backdrop.

Using Bearly Arts Adhesive, I glued down all my die cuts to the front panel. Once this was complete, I adhered the panel to an A2 sized orange card base.

Be sure to check out my video to see all the details. Happy crafting! - Katherine
