Hello, crafty friends! Irene here with a birthday card using the Avery Elle Little card, the big Wishes stamp and dies, and the Spec-taco-lur stamp set.
I started by stamping the taco image to the lower right of an A2-sized panel. I carefully lined the hat, arms, and maraca stamps over the taco shell and stamped them directly. Next, I stamped several hot sauce images around the panel with a stamping block. I added hearts in between the bottles.
I then began to color the images with Copic markers. The colors used are listed in order from lightest to darkest.
Taco Shell: Y35, Y19 and Y04 for the
Party Hat: YR000, YR04,
Lettuce: YG0000, YG03, YG17
Tomato and Hot Sauce Bottles: R43, R35, R46
Hot Sauce Top: G00, G02, G09
Hot Sauce Label: YR000, YR21
Hot Sauce Flame: Y02, Y08, YR68
Maraca: YG03, YG17, R43
Hearts: YG03
Shadow: N1
I added highlights with a white gel pen.
I stamped "have a spec-taco-lur birthday" from the Spec-taco-lur stamp set and cut it using the Honey Bee Stamps Mini Messages Die Set. I stamped "Hooray" from the Little Card Big Wishes set onto white card stock. At the same time, I die-cut the sentiment with the coordinating die and the next size up. I used a Copic Marker R46 to color the thin outline die-cut.
I glued the colored outline directly to the card and added "Hooray" with foam tape. I added the birthday sentiment under using foam tape.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! Thanks for reading along!
