Lawn Fawn Porcu-pine For You & To My Fungi

Lawn Fawn Porcu-pine For You & To My Fungi

Posted by Deepa Robbins on

Hello crafters and welcome to the ScrapbookPal Blog!
My name is Deepa from @deezinesbyd and I’m excited to be sharing two Valentine’s Day cards featuring the Lawn Fawn Porcu-pine For You and To My Fungi stamps and die sets.

I created one card made primarily with the Porcu-pine For You sets using a blue background and the Pinkfresh Studio Nestled Rectangle Postage Edge dies. And the second card used the To My Fungi sets with the same set-up as the first card but with a gray background. To see how this card came together, simply click the ScrapbookPal YouTube link below.

The Altenew Stampwheel came in handy when stamping out the multiple images needed to make these repeating pattern cards. It can take a bit of time to color in all the images but I find that coloring in batches of the same image speeds the process along.

You’ll notice that the porcupine card has a lot of red hearts in the background to break up the blue and brown from the images. And the fungi and snail card uses the smaller sentiments and heart stamps with Pinkfresh Rocky Slope ink to fill in the background.

I hope these cards have inspired you to create something similar yourself. Remember, Valentine’s Day is just a month away! Please do check out the tutorial to catch all the tips and tricks as well.

Have a Great Day & Happy Crafting!
