Instructions:
Step 1: Stamp images, color with Copic markers, die cut and set aside.
Step 2: Using white cardstock, create a box card base using the Scalloped Box Card Pop Up die from Lawn Fawn or create your own by cutting and scoring your cardstock as follows:
a. Cut cardstock to 4 ¼”x11
b. Score on the long edge at 2”
c. Score on the short edge at 3”, 5 ¼”, 8 ¼” and 10 ½”
d. Trim on each of those score lines on the two" side up to the score line you made at 2”.
e. Fold all but one of the longest flaps down you just created down.
f. Trim the small ½” piece off completely at the score line so you are just left with a tab on the 2 ¼” side.
Step 3: Ink blend upright panel with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink.
Step 4: Using strong 1/4” adhesive tape, attach small tab end to opposite end to create a box shape.
Step 5: Cut ocean wave borders from aqua cardstock and hillside borders from kraft cardstock.
Step 6: Trim two ocean wave borders to 3 ½” and score ¼” from each edge. Fold on the score lines. Attach borders inside box to create layers using ¼” adhesive tape.
Step 7: Also, add ocean wave borders to the upright back of the card and each of the folded down panels.
Step 8: Attach hillside borders to the folded down panels of the box to create sand.
Step 9: Attach images with strong tape or liquid adhesive (use ¼” strips of acetate to attach floating elements). Make sure the images do not extend past the top of the upright panel so the card will still fit in a standard envelope when closed.
Step 10: Stamp sentiment and additional shells and bubbles to panels (depending on what you’re more comfortable with, this can also be done before the box is assembled).
Step 11: When folded flat, the box will still fit in a standard A2 size envelope!
