Hi there! Colleen Beamish here from @humorbean_cards with a Christmas card featuring the Hero Arts Whimsical Wheels Collection. Sometimes a die set is so cute that it really doesn’t need much help, and that was definitely the case with the Beep Beep Die Set!
The Beep Beep set includes all the pieces to create this adorable little holiday scene, from the car itself to Santa and his reindeer passenger. I die cut all of the pieces from coordinating cardstock and assembled everything together.
I went with a classic bright red for the car, but instead of pairing it with a more traditional Christmas background, I mounted the scene on soft pink cardstock. I really like how the pink lets the red car pop while giving the finished card a slightly more playful feel.
There are so many fun little details built into this die set. The metallic accents on the bumper and mirrors add a bit of shine, while the yellow headlights and green license plate bring in a few more pops of color. I also added some white gel pen highlights throughout the car and Santa’s hat to give the die cuts a little extra dimension.
Because the assembled car is such a large focal point, I kept the rest of the card very simple. For the greeting, I used the Winter Words Press Plates, creating a small “Merry Christmas” sentiment that I tucked into the open space above the car. It finishes the card without competing with the main image.

This is one of those cards where the dies really do most of the work. A fun color palette, a few finishing details, and one great focal-point die set were all it needed.

Happy crafting!
