Instructions:
Stamp and Die-cut the critters and background pieces that will be used, then color these pieces. (Note that the little mouse was carrying a lamp, so dropping in some yellow color around the edge of the critters would make it look like the light was reflecting on the mouse and the owl next to it.)
Take the mountain stamp from the stamp set, then stamp it onto two pieces of cardstock. Keep the first cardstock as the card base, then cut out the second piece of cardstock to be used as a stencil. Color the night sky using the ink blending tool and various blue and purple colors.
To add stars to the sky, dip paint brush in white acrylic paint, then tap the brush on your finger or on another brush to flick little drops of white paint onto the night sky.
To create grassy background, use the Grassy Border Lawn Cut to die cut a panel of cardstock. Color the grass panel with ink blending tool and selected green colors. (I dropped in a little light brown to add variety to the grass color.)
Color the mountains, then add the grass panel. I find the Scrappy tape to be very effective when adhering cardstock pieces.
Add the previously colored critter and other background pieces onto the card base. Add a sentiment onto the card as well, then the card is done!
