Hi crafty friends! It's MFT superheroes to the rescue! I'm excited to be on the scrapbookpal blog today sharing how to make this superhero slimline card.

Step 1:  I stamped the superhero critters from the My Favorite Things Super Friend clear stamp set using a Gina K. Designs Obsidian Amalgam Ink pad and my mini Misti stamping tool, colored my stamped images with Copic markers (primary colors), and cut them out.

Step 2:  Next, I cut out two slimline card panels from white cardstock using the two largest diagonal stitched slimline dies from the Pinkfresh Studio Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die set.

Step 3:  I cut out another slimline panel from dark blue cardstock using the largest plain rectangle die (without the diagonal stitches) from the Pinkfresh Studio Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die set.

Step 4:  I glued the blue slimline panel onto the largest diagonal stitched white slimline panel, and then glued the smaller diagonal stitched white slimline panel on top of the blue panel using a Lawn Fawn Glue Tube.

Step 5:  I cut out 3 small squares from white cardstock using a stitched square die, and blended them with Ranger Ink Tim Holtz Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Ink, Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Ink, and Black Soot Distress Ink using Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brushes.

Step 6:  I splattered the blended squares with water and added white and blue dots using some gel pens, and then glued one of my colored superhero critters onto each of the three blended squares using a Lawn Fawn Glue Tube.

Step 7:  I stamped the sentiment "YOU DID IT" sentiment from the My Favorite Things You're Super clear stamp set onto black cardstock using a Lawn Fawn Lawn Inks Clear for Embossing ink pad.  Then I poured Lawn Fawn white embossing powder onto my stamped sentiment, heat embossed it with a heating tool, and then cut the sentiment into a long black strip.

Step 8:  Next, I glued the three blended stitched squares with my superheroes and sentiment strip onto the smallest diagonal stitched white card panel using a Lawn Fawn Glue tube I used scissors to cut off the extra edges from my sentiment strip.

Step 9:  Then I used a Lawn Fawn glue tube to glue on the little superhero speech bubbles saying "POW" and "BOOM" which I stamped from the My Favorite Things You're Super clear stamp set and colored with yellow copic markers.

Step 10:  Lastly, I added white highlights to my superhero critters using a white gel pen.

MFT superheroes to the rescue!  Thank you for reading along about how I made this slimline card featuring these adorable MFT critters. Hope you all have a super day!
