O Christmas Tree - Gina K Designs

O Christmas Tree - Gina K Designs

Posted by April Leithner on

Hello and welcome to the ScrapbookPal blog. April Leithner from the Design Team here with a Christmas card featuring the Gina K Designs O Christmas Tree Stamp Set and Die Set. I used some fun modern Christmas colors to go with the modern trees in this set.

·       Die cut a panel of pink cardstock using the largest die in the Spellbinders Notched Corner Frames Die Set.

·       Die cut a panel of white cardstock using the second largest die in the Notched Corner Frames Die Set.

·       Cut an A2 panel of red cardstock.

·       Stamp trees from Gina K Designs O Christmas Tree Stamp Set with Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Inks.

·       Die cut trees using  Gina K Designs O Christmas Tree Die Set.

·       Stamp the 3 snowflakes from the O Christmas Tree Stamp Set randomly on the die cut white panel with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink.

·       Splatter this panel with Frozen Fog Mica Spray and let dry.

·       Stamp a sentiment and sub sentiment from the O Christmas Tree Stamp Set using Versa Mark Ink then use Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder to heat emboss these on red cardstock.

·       Die cut the sentiments.

·       Use Foam Tape to pop up white panel on pink panel then adhere these to the red A2 panel.

·       Pop up sub sentiment and trees using Foam Tape.

·       Adhere sentiment across trees.

·       Adhere Aura AB Color Essential Gems from Spellbinders on the trees and around the white panel near the sub sentiment.

·       Adhere entire panel to heavy weight card base.

I hope this card inspires you to get started on your Christmas cards.  Do you use traditional colors or non-traditional colors when you create Christmas projects?  Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting.
