Step 1: Stamp rocket ship, flame, astronaut and two planets onto white cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink. Die cut and color with Copics- colors are listed below.
Rocket Ship: C3, C7, BG15, R29
Flame: YR07
Astronaut: C1,C3 E21, E59, BG15
Step 2: Add highlight lines using white gel pen.
Step 3: For the background, start with a piece of Black 110lb card stock. Blend Peacock Feathers in a few spots on the card stock. Next, blend Faded Jeans surrounding the Peacock Feather spots. Use Black Soot to blend the colors into the black cardstock. Use the distress sprayer to spritz the background, being sure to use both the mist and droplet settings.
Step 4: Next, add some of the Yeti pigment ink to a palette and water down. Use a paintbrush to flick the white ink onto the background.
Step 5: Stamp "hope your birthday is" onto a white card stock in black ink and cut down to a sentiment strip size. Use the powder tool on the distressed background and then stamp "out of this world" in versamark ink. Apply white embossing powder and heat.
Step 6: Adhere rocket shop, astronaut and planets to distressed background. Free-hand dry the tether line to the astronaut using a white gel pen.
Step 7: Frame the scene onto white card stock and then adhere to a navy blue card front.
