Hi there stamping friends, Carrie Rhoades here back on the Scrapbook Pal blog. Today we are highlighting the Always Smiling collection from Pinkfresh Studio. This collection has a sprig of flowers and leaves. You can stamp this image or use the Press Plate to press the image into your paper. There is a stencil set to multicolor the image, whether stamped or press. And there is a coordinating die to cut out the image, as well as all of the three sentiments. In our YouTube video I will show you a card with the Always Smiling Press Plate and Always Smiling Stencil Set. It's a gorgeous combination.
You can watch the video right here, but if you cannot see the video up on your screen, you can always watch it here.
Now let's take a look at the card up close.
I inked up the press plates with Betterpress Thunder ink, I liked the look of the gray for a more subtle look.
I chose two shades of pink for the flowers and two shades of green for the leaves, as there are two stencils for each of these. There is also a stencil for the center of the flowers, for that layer I used brown ink.
I found the Mini Blending Brush set from Spellbinders to work great with this stencil that has a lot of small openings.
To complete the card I dusted some ink around the edges, added a touch of splatter and topped it with a few pieces of confetti from my stash.
Below you will find all the supplies I used to make today's card.
Thank you so much for stopping by and watching the video too. This is my final video with the Scrapbook Pal team for the 2023/2024 year. What fun it has been to share my creations here with you. The Scrapbook Pal team and shop is amazing and I am blessed to be part of it. You can find me on social media @carrierhoades.
Happy Stamping,
Carrie
