Pinkfresh Studio Kindness in Bloom

Pinkfresh Studio Kindness in Bloom

Hi everyone! I hope your week was great and that your ready for a good weekend too!! Well today I wanted to share with you a card I made with the new Pinkfresh studio,Kindness in Bloom stamps, dies and stencils. They are amazing!!

I really do love these but it took me a minute to realize that the stencils didn't line up perfectly with the stamped images. They are made that way, but I had to go back and look at the packaging to make sure! lol But starting this card I stamped out the floral images twice, along with my sentiment for the front of my card.

I stamped those out and then grabbed my sticky mat so that I could use my stencils and add some color to these pretty things! I ended up color both sets and they are both a little different and that's ok. I did the first set with one color for each portion, like the leaves, then the flower petals and so on. But the second set I pulled out my little blending brushes and added two colors to pretty much all of them.

Once I finished with my ink blending I moved to die cutting. I did the flowers and that was fast, thanks to the kind of die they made! But I also grabbed a few Spellbinder dies and cut out some patterned paper for my background.

I placed the background pieces down, adding some 3D foam to the black and white piece to add some dimension. I taped the pink paper flat and then started to play with the way I wanted the florals. I positioned them to where they all met in the middle and tucked behind one another so that my sentiment would cover that. I pulled out my glue and started to glue everything down, popped my sentiment up on some foam and that finished this card.
