Pinkfresh Studio Thanks For Being There

Pinkfresh Studio Thanks For Being There

Posted by Misty Lavigne on

Hi there everyone! It's Misty here from The Jolly Fat Elf.  For today's project, we are creating a soft, pastel card using the Thanks For Being There stamp, dies and stencils from Pinkfresh Studio.

I started by stamping using the Honey Bee Stamps No Line ink. I love using this type of ink when stenciling! Next, I used several Distress Oxides to color in the florals using the stencils. This color palette included Kitsch Flamingo, Shaded Lilac, Milled Lavender, Spun Sugar, Dried MarigoldTattered Rose and Cracked Pistachio

.

For my focal image, I used the Gina K Detail Silver Embossing Powder. Heat embossing is one of my favorite techniques. It's rather simple, but packs a huge punch! To ground my focal point, I used the Pinkfresh Studio Nested Hexagon dies to cut this piece of coral patterned paper from my stash.

Adding the Glacier jewels from Pinkfresh gave the illusion of water droplets and I love it!

I hope you enjoyed this card! Be sure to check out the video to see the entire process!
