Pinkfresh Studios Pop-out Hexagons Card

Pinkfresh Studios Pop-out Hexagons Card

Posted by Ricky Romero on

Hi everyone! It is Ricky on the blog today! Wow, so I have been under quarantine here in Chicago since March 16, 2020. I have not been to my office since then either! And it appears we will be working from home until the spring of 2020. Anyway let’s get to the card! Make sure you head over to the YouTube page to see the video I made making this card!

Step 1: Using MISTI place the pop out hexagon stamp and use Versamark ink to stamp it out.

Step 2: Heat emboss the Lawn Fawn embossing powder until set.

Step 3: Use the tumbled glass and twisted citron to ink blend on top of the white heat embossed using the Picket Fences Blending Brushes.

Step 4: Take die and line it up with the stamped image and run that through your die cutting machine.

Step 5: Use the shell of the die cut and glue it to the black cardstock.

Step 6: Then take the floral pieces and arrange them into a circle. Place foam squares on each pieces and place them down.

Step 7: Cut the butterfly out using the white cardstock and also cut out of the vellum as well.

Step 8: Glue the white butterfly to the vellum but only apply glue to the body. The wings should be separate.

Step 9: Cut a piece of foam square and place under the body of the butterfly and place down on the card.

Step 10: Glue the card panel to your card base and you are finished!

Here is the list of items that I used to make this card:

Pink Fresh Studio – Simply Hexagons

Pink Fresh Studio – Pop Out Hexagons

Lawn Fawn – Layered Butterflies

Tim Holtz Distressed Oxide Inks – Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron

Scrapbook Adhesive Foam Squares

Art Glitter Glue

Neenah Solar White 80lb Cardstock

Black cardstock

Vellum

Lawn Fawn – White Embossing Powder

Versamark Ink

Misti Stamping Tool

I hope you have a great week and I can’t wait to see what you have created!

Ricky
