Spellbinders Betterpress with Registration Templates

Spellbinders Betterpress with Registration Templates

Posted by Carrie Rhoades on

Hi There, Carrie Rhoades here, sharing some fun new Betterpress plates from Spellbinders. In this video I am using the Happy Hooray Balloon Betterpress Set. It comes with Betterpress plates, Dies and Registration Templates. Templates are a new addition to the Betterpress Line and help you make multicolored impressions in one seamless image.  Watch this video to see it in action.

If you cannot see the video up on your screen you can also watch it right HERE

Now let's take a close up look at the card I made using these new goodies!

You can see the multicolored array of balloon here. This is done with the help of the Registration Template. With it you are able to do one part at a time in different colors. I love that some of the images layers on top of the others. And in this set you have the option of spelling out the word, Hooray or Happy.

I added one hot foiled balloon to my bunch of balloons, not because it was my first idea, but because I had a mess up behind where it is. It's a "happy accident" as Bob Ross would say. Because This set has the balloons split up to do the color layering I was able to Hot foiled just one or two balloons and cut them out for layering. I love that you can also hot foil with BetterPress Plates.

One of my favorite part of this card has to be the Buffalo Plaid Betterpress background. I inked mine up in an ombre look with some of the new Betterpress mini ink pads, the same colors I used on the balloons. What a cool plate!

If you like using the BetterPress System, then you will have so much fun with this new style of plates that include Registration Templates.

Thank you for stopping by the blog today and letting me share this creation with you.

Here are the supplies I used to make today's card:

  • I love Spellbinders small dies they mak such small dainty cards. More time consuming but well worth the effort.
