Spellbinders Copperplate Holiday Sentiments Collection

Spellbinders Copperplate Holiday Sentiments Collection

Posted by Colleen Beamish on

Hi there! Colleen Beamish here from @humorbean_cards. Today I’m sharing a beautiful floral Christmas card and matching gift tag featuring the Spellbinders Copperplate Holiday Sentiments Collection - or more specifically, the Copperplate Joy to the World press plate and Copperplate Gift Tag Press Plates & Die.

To create the floral background of this card, I used the Spellbinders Playful Poinsettia 3D Embossing Folder. I used dye ink inside the embossing folder to create contrast between the embossed and debossed areas. Then, I added simple ink blending over the embossed flowers.

I used the Betterpress System to letterpress “Joy to the World” into a cotton card panel with Metallic Gold Pigment Ink. I cut out the sentiment with the Pinkfresh Studio Notched Corner Frame die then adhered it to the card using foam tape for dimension. Some gold pearls were the finishing touch.

But I wasn’t done yet! I made a matching gift tag using the same techniques that I used to create the card.

To see the full process of creating this card and the gift tag, be sure to check out the video on Scrapbook Pal’s YouTube Channel.

Happy Crafting!
