Spellbinders Floral Reflections Collection

Spellbinders Floral Reflections Collection

Posted by Deepa Robbins on

Hello crafters and welcome to the ScrapbookPal Blog!
My name is Deepa from @deezinesbyd and today I’m changing gears from holiday cardmaking and sharing this elegant shaker card!
This 5" x 7" card features products from the Spellbinders Floral Reflections Collection. The focal point image is a medium-sized floral glimmer plate from the Glimmering Just For You glimmer plates set. And I used the Essential Floral Reflection Dies to create the shaker window and frame. For a more in-depth look at how this card came together, simply click the ScrapbookPal YouTube link below.
I used some Copic Ciao alcohol ink markers in purples, peaches and greens to color in the foiled floral image and cut it out with the included coordinating die.
The background was created by ink blending oxide inks in Pine Needles, Peacock Feathers, Uncharted Mariner and Black Soot. And a little bit of sprinkled water removed with a dry towel created the reactive splatter look.
For the shaker bits, I used the Spellbinders Bisque Opalescent Sequins which have a neutral tone so they work with any color scheme. I also like that they’re relatively flat so you don’t have to double up your foam tape for your shaker window.
I used both short sentiments included in the glimmer set for the sentiment and embellished the card with some Pinkfresh Studio Iridescent Clear Drops.
And that’s really all it took to put this card together!
Have a Great Day & Happy Crafting!
