Spellbinders - Gorgeous You Collection

Posted by April Leithner on

Hello and welcome to the Scrapbook Pal Blog!  April Leithner (@inkycreationswithapril) from the Design Team here with a card featuring products from the Spellbinders Gorgeous You Collection.  This card is pretty in pink with a ton of dimension and would be perfect for a friend or sister.  I love creating cards using die cuts.  I find the detail to be amazing.

·       Use a variety of pink and green cardstock as well as gold metallic paper, and Betterpress Cotton Card Panel in Porcelain to die cut the pieces from the Spellbinders Gorgeous You Perfume Bottle Die Set and the Gorgeous You Florals Die Set.

·       Use a Betterpress Letterpress System and Betterpress Black Ink Pad to press sentiment from the Flawless Sentiments Press Plate and Die Set into the Porcelain Cotton Panel piece die cut for the front of the bottle from the Gorgeous You Perfume Bottle Die Set.

·       Adhere all the die cut pieces for the perfume bottle together.

·       Adhere the centers to the flowers and the white flowers to stems.

·       Run a 4x5.25” piece of white cardstock through a die cut machine with the Altenew Diamond Stars 3D Embossing Folder.

·       Adhere embossed panel to a 4 1/8x5 3/8” piece of gold metallic cardstock.

·       Adhere this panel to an A2 panel of light pink cardstock.

·       Use 3D Foam Squares to pop up the perfume bottle in center of panel.

·       Use Thin 3D Foam Squares to pop up flowers in lower left corner of the perfume bottle.

·       Tuck leaves around large pink flower and adhere in place.

·       Adhere to a top folding heavy weight card base.

I love how elegant this card turned out.  The flowers added to the perfume bottle add great interest and work so well to add more detail to the card.  Make sure to check out the shop to see the Spellbinders Gorgeous You Collection.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are inspired to put together a card using die cuts as well as use your Betterpress Letterpress System.  See you next time!
