Spellbinders-More Betterpress Poinsettia Corner Plate and Die

Spellbinders-More Betterpress Poinsettia Corner Plate and Die

Posted by Misty Lavigne on

Hi there everyone! It's Misty here, from The Jolly Fat Elf. Today, I'm playing with the Spellbinders Betterpress Letterpress System and the More Betterpress Christmas Poinsettia Corner Plate and Die Set

Along with the fun letterpress, I colored the image using an older  Nuvo Aqua Glitter Gloss Pen that had dried up. Did you know that you can add water to the pen to revive it? When using it along with ink, you can create a beautiful, shimmer watercolor effect!

After coloring the images, I used the Spellbinders Nordic Ornaments and the Spellbinders Flourished Ornament Slimline dies to create ornaments from the watercolored letterpress panel.

I loved the pink poinsettia so much that I decided to a dd it as a panel on my card front. I love vibrant florals with black and white stripes. It's a combination I've used in my card making for years!

If you want to see these techniques in action, be sure to check out the video!

I appreciate you joining me today!
