Spellbinders Open Road Birthday Card by Kavya

You can never have too many birthday cards. I fell in love with Spellbinder’s new Open Road die and sentiment stamp set and I knew it was just the perfect size for critter cards. Read along to see how I paired it with some of my favorite stamps from Avery Elle to create some fun happy mail! 

First, start off by creating your background by ink blending shades of pink and orange on A2 sized panel. Use a strip of green cardstock ink blended on one side for the grass.

Later, die cut the elements out of colored cardstock and assemble your car from the Open Road die set. To add some dimension, I added shadows and highlights using a white gel pen and Copic markers.

Stamp and color a bunch of images from A Head Above stamp set.

Finally, adhere all the images on the card base using glue and add a sentiment from Open Road Sentiments to finish off the card!
