Spellbinders Rain or Shine!

Spellbinders Rain or Shine!

Posted by Caitlin Anthony on

Hi Friends! This is Caitlin from Caitlin Annalee Cards and today I am sharing the perfect card to cheer someone up. I paired up the Spellbinders Rain or Shine Dies and Raindrops Embossing Folder to create a rainy day shaker card. You can see the whole process here:

This is the kind of card I want in my stash at all times to send to a friend who might be going through a tough time. I made a custom sentiment with Henry's ABCs Dies from Lawn Fawn to show my encouragement to keep pushing through tough times.

To be transparent with you, this was not my first try at making this card. Originally I had a dark grey card base and a more traditional rainbow color scheme and the card felt really heavy. By changing to a white base and making my colors a little more citrus or springy, it really helped to freshen up the whole card.
