Hi everyone, Sarah Wyles here today to share a fun snow globe card using Spellbinders, Simon's Snow Globe collection with you. I used the main Simon's Snow Globe and the Sparkling Snow 3D Embossing Folder on this card.If you'd like to see how this card came together, click on the ScrapbookPal Youtube link below and enjoy! Is anyone else loving gingerbread houses right now? Well I am and when I saw this Snow globe die set and the add-ons, that this would be so cute as gingerbread houses! So I decided that was what I was going to try with this one! I cut the hill/house die out twice, once in white and once in the closes color I could find to gingerbread. I cut the little houses off there hill and attached them on top if the white hill and houses.
I used a white gel pen to draw along the lines that the die had already created on the little house, not to much detail with the houses being so small, but I still think they look a little like gingerbread. I moved on, adding trees and street lamps. Then to the front hill, with the larger house, adding my little white details there too.
I added trees and a lamp post here too and then added my base. I love the way the gold glitter cardstock looked on the base of the snow globe! I used the 3D embossing folder to create my card base, I did a little ink blending on it before adding my snow globe down and finishing off my card. I hope you enjoyed this card and I hope it inspires you to create one too! Thank so much and I hope you have a great day!
