Sweet Birthday by Saedi

    Hi there crafty friends!

Here is a little tutorial for making a “sweet birthday” card. The great thing about cards like this, is you can make them without needing the coordinating dies! So if you have stamp sets without the dies that coordinate, try making your own background.

Step 1: I started by cutting a rectangle and an oval shape out of white paper.

Step 2: Next I used lawn fawn’s “Baked with Love” stamp set to randomly stamp small images for my own background. These are so fun to make!

Step 3: Next, I stamped the big birthday cake from lawn fawn’s “Birthday Before n’ Afters” stamp set to stamp the cake onto my oval and added a sentiment from “Baked with Love”

Step 4: Then I colored all my images with my copic markers. I wanted the colors to be soft and sweet, so I stuck with pinks, yellows and tans (colors listed below).
