Whisking You a Great Birthday featuring Spellbinders Make It & Bake It Collection

Posted by Colleen Beamish on

Hello there! This Colleen Beamish from @humorbean_cards and today I’m sharing a cheerful birthday card that’s perfect for the baker in your life — or anyone who loves a cute pun. This design came together with a fun mix of dies and a clean, layered layout that really lets the details shine.

The star of this card is the Spellbinders Fluff, Frost & Roll Die Set, which I used to create the adorable kitchen utensils. I love how detailed these dies are — the little slots in the spatula, the dimensional whisk wires, and the sweet wooden spoon all add so much personality.

To hold the utensils, I reached for the Spellbinders Pooh’s Hunny Pot Die Set. Instead of using it as a honey pot, it works perfectly as a cute container — almost like a cozy kitchen crock!

For the background, I kept things clean and classic using the Lawn Fawn Lacy Rectangle Stackables. The delicate scalloped detail frames the design beautifully without overpowering the focal point.

Finally, I finished the card with a sweet punny sentiment from the Spellbinders Sugared Expressions Stamp Set, “Whisking You a Great Birthday!” It ties everything together and adds just the right playful touch.

To see this card come together from start to finish, be sure to check out the process video over on the Scrapbook Pal YouTube Channel!

Happy crafting!
