Catherine Pooler Just Roll With It Card by Nancy

HELLO FRIENDS! I’m Nancy Sheads from Rowhouse Greetings and I’m here today to show you my latest project featuring stamps and dies from Catherine Pooler Designs. Our household includes three cats who not only allow us to live with them, but shower them with food and lots of affection on a daily basis. Since they like to be the center of attention at all times, I’m always on the lookout for feline themed images that I can use on cards for friends.

For today’s project, I am featuring:

  • Just Roll with It Stamp Set by Catherine Pooler Designs
  • Just Roll with It Die Set by Catherine Pooler Designs
  • This Way Round Dies by Catherine Pooler Designs
  • Copic coloring (see marker list below).
  • See full supply list below.

To start, I cut a piece of design paper to 4.25” x 3.25” and adhered along the top edge of an A2 size card base. I cut a strip measuring 1.75” x 4.25” from a piece of coordinating design paper and adhered along the bottom edge of the card base. I covered the remaining gap with a scrap piece of white cardstock measuring ½” x 4.25” to complete the background.

I used the largest die in the This Way Round Die Set to cut the circle design from a piece of white card stock. I stamped one of the sentiments from the Just Roll with It Stamp Set on the die cut using Versafine Ink in Onyx Black. Once the ink was dry, I adhered it to the card background as shown.

Finally, I stamped one of the images from the Just Roll with It Stamp Set on a Copic friendly paper using Amalgam Ink in Obsidian by Gina K. Designs. I colored the image with Copic markers as shown below.

I trimmed the colored image using the coordinating Just Roll with It Die Set, applied 3D Foam Small Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives to the back, and adhered it in place. Let’s take another look at the finished card!

Hope you enjoyed today’s project! See you again soon!

Nancy

COPICS: C1, C3 (cat); R12, R14 (flower pot); G03, G19 (leaves)
