Hello crafty friends! I hope that your week started off well! I am in full on purging mode, so half my house looks like a mess while the other half looks better than it probably will ever look! I wish I could say the same for my craft space, but at least I get to share a fun floral card with y’all as a result of the mess! Trust the process, right :) If you don’t know my already, my name is Farhana and you can find me over at Everyday Engineered! Thanks for stopping by the ScrapbookPal blog today! For today’s card I combined a fun new stamp set from Pinkfresh Studios and Honey Bee Stamps for a layered floral card.

To create this card :

I started by heat embossing the frame from the In My Heart stamp set with watermark ink and gold embossing powder.

Next I inked blended over it using distress oxide inks in Tattered Rose, Kitsch Flamingo, Shabby Shutters and Shaded Lilac using the In My Heart Stencils. I didn't use the last layer of the stencil as I forgot till it was too late! But I still like the end result! I cut out the frame using the coordinating die.

I created the background for the card using distress oxide ink in Tumbled Glass and the Crystal Kaleidoscope Background from Honey Bee Stamps.

I then die cut the detailed layer of the Lovely Layers: Heart Vine from golden cardstock.
I finished off the card by stamping/embossing the sentiment from the In My Heart stamp set, along with cutting up the vine diecuts and tucking them under the frame that I adhered using foam tape. As always I added a few jewels to finish off the look.

Thanks for following along today! I hope that this card inspires you to create something!
Till the next time, take care!
