Halloween Project feat. Honey Bee Stamps by Kreative Kinship

Hello friends!  Michele and Maureen here from @KreativeKinship to share a fun Halloween card we created using some fabulous new products from Honey Bee Stamps. If you love making cards for this holiday, then these products are perfect for helping you create whatever creepy, spooky, eerie project you have in mind! We have a lot to share, so let's get started!

We started by ink blending a 4” x 6” 80lb white panel of cardstock using Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and Black Soot Oxide inks. Black splatters were added using black acrylic paint.

Using an alcohol friendly ink, the bottles and labels were stamped onto 80lb. white cardstock and all the elements were cut out with the coordinating Honey Cut dies.

Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink was blended onto each of the labels with a heavier concentration of ink around the edges.  The bottles were each colored using Copic markers.

Bubble details were drawn onto each of the bottles with a black fine-tipped Copic marker and a white gel pen.  The word “BREW” was cut using the alphabet dies and black cardstock.

When we started to arrange the diecut elements onto the background, we thought the white halo around each of the images was too distracting so we decided to remove it by fussy cutting around each of the die cuts. The photo below shows the images before we trimmed off the halo. Let us know in the comments below if you think we should have left the halo intact or if you prefer it trimmed off.

The elements were arranged and adhered using foam adhesive and liquid glue.  Bats and cobwebs were stamped with black pigment ink directly onto the background for added interest.  Black pearls were added as a final embellishment and the completed panel was adhered to a 5” x 7” card base to finish our project.

We hope you enjoyed our Halloween project today! Thank you so much for stopping by.

Crafty Hugs!

Michele & Maureen
