Happy Holidays Card ft. Sizzix by Kelly

Happy Holidays Card ft. Sizzix by Kelly

Hello crafty friends! Kelly Fusco here with a festive fun card featuring the New Sizzix Christmas Bold Text die set

To start off I die cut my Sentiment & my Poinsettia which is Sizzixs Holiday Brushstrokes #4 with Distress watercolor cardstock.

I used the ink smooshing technique with watercolors.

While that was drying I die cut my back panel with Honeybees Pierced Fancy Flakes die.

After running it through I ran it through again with a Embossing matt. This gave it the dimension you see here.

Then I laid out my panel how I wanted it to look and glued it to my maroon cardbase after I distressed  the edges with scissors. And I die cut HAPPY HOLIDAYS from the Christmas Bold Text 3x. In order to get the spacing right I kept the negative piece and added to the panel (not glued,I just laid it there)

I used that as a guide and added my letters stacked 3x high & glued them down. Once that was dry I removed the negative piece.

I wanted to add a bit of texture to my leaves so I used the snowfall grit paste

I added  a wink of stella glitter in clear to the letters and then glossy accents on top.

I added a few gems for more sparkle and that's it. I hope you like this card. It was fun to make.

Supplies I used for this card are:

Sizzix Bold Text, Christmas die set

Sizzixs Holiday Brushstrokes #4 die set

Honeybees Fancy Flakes piercing die

Snowfall Grit Paste

Distress Watercolor Cardstock

Wink of Stella-Clear
