Hey there friends, Katie here. I have started leaning into the holiday cards, I have so many to make! I had a ton of fun making this one featuring some stamps from the latest Avery Elle Release.
This card is so cute and the images steal the show. I stamped the images from Happy Owlidays Stamp and Coordinating Die set. After stamping the images, I colored the with Copics (colors listed below), white gel highlights and then used the die set to cut them out. I set these aside.
Next, I used a bit of kraft cardstock and used a woodgrain cover plate to cut it. I cut it to be slim and run lengthwise on my card, it is approximately 3 X 5. Then I used a blending brush and Ground Espresso Distress Ink to give it some additional color. I stamped the sentiment on this layer.
Next, I cut some red and white gingham cardstock to 4 X 5.25. I used my scrappy tape and mounted the woodgrain onto the designer paper. Then I used foam tape to set the images onto my base. This I mounted on a white base with more scrappy tape.
Finally, I added some lovely little gems with my glue dots for a little extra interest.
Well that’s all folks. I hope you enjoyed this post today. Please check out these amazing products in the shop and hit us up for more inspiration any time.
I appreciate your stopping by! ~Katie
