Hey There, Hot Stuff!

We’re spicing things up a little! This hot pepper plant and its fun sentiments will add just the right amount of spice to your crafting projects.  With everything from Happy Birthday to Hello Hottie, you can create a set of cards in any occasion.

Treat yourself to this set, from the ScrapbookPal online store, and follow these step by step instructions to create this project:

  1. Create card base from cardstock 8.5” x 6”.  Fold in half.
  2. Cut a solid paper block 4” x 5.75”.  Adhere to the front of card.
  3. Cut a second solid paper block, in a contrasting color, 3.75” x 5.5”. Adhere to card.

  1. On white cardstock, using multiple sentiments, stamp your background with various sizes and spacing.  Trim to 3.5” x 5.25”.
  2. Wrap with a piece of raffia, twine or ribbon.
  3. Adhere to front of card.

  1. Stamp, color and cut your pepper plant image.
  2. Stamp sentiment onto a small piece of cardstock.  Optional, die cut with a tag shape or trim to your desired shape.

  1. Adhere the pepper plant die cut image to the front of card using foam dots.
  2. Tie your tag to the card using the raffia, twine or ribbon.

Happy Crafting!  Mary Jo
