Holiday Gift Tags (ft. Spellbinders) by Kreative Kinship

Hello crafty friends! Michele and Maureen here from @KreativeKinship to share some quick but adorable holiday gift tags that we created using some fabulous new products from Spellbinders. We have a lot to share, so let's get started!

We started by die cutting a tag and all the pieces of the box for the largest tag.  (The tag in the photo is a deep turquoise, but we ended up changing our mind later on and recut the tag from white cardstock). The pieces of the box were cut from kraft cardstock.

We then die cut all the individual pieces for both the dog and the kitty from scraps of white cardstock, grey cardstock and the bow from red cardstock.

The large white tag was run through the die cutting machine using an embossing folder to add texture. We also cut 2 smaller tags from scraps of moss green cardstock and a rectangle from light turquoise patterned paper.

Three small scalloped oval tags were die cut from white cardstock. They were layered atop one another and adhered with liquid glue to create a sturdy, chipboard-like dimensional frame.

The turquoise patterned paper, a strip of green cardstock and a strip of coordinating ribbon were all adhered onto the textured white tag with liquid glue.

Sentiments were stamped onto the large layered white tag, the front of the box and the small green tag using black ink. A sentiment was also stamped onto a strip of the deep turquoise cardstock using white pigment ink and was heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Colored details were added to the dog and kitty using alcohol markers. The die cut dog and kitty were assembled and adhered with liquid glue. The Dog was adhered inside the box and the box was adhered to the largest tag with liquid glue. The Kitty was adhered inside the scalloped oval frame as shown using liquid glue.

The layers of the tag were adhered along with a strip of coordinating ribbon, the oval frame and the layered sentiment which was cut into a banner. The holes in all three tags were threaded with ribbon and matching twine.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Crafty Hugs!

Michele & Maureen
