Honey Bee Stamps Boho Leaves

Honey Bee Stamps Boho Leaves

Posted by Kathy Schweinfurth on

Leaves are changing colors and there’s a bit of crispness in the air – Fall is here!  Honey Bee Stamps is welcoming Fall with a fun boho vibe with their new Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Boho Leaves dies!

Here’s how I created my card…

1)  First, I cut out the leaves in white cardstock to be ink blended and cut colored cardstock for the ‘lacy’ pieces.

2)  I then ink blended each leaf in different Distress Oxide Ink colors (see colors at the end).

3)  For the background, I used Honey Bee Stamps Swirl & Flourish Stencil and inked with Distress Oxide Ink Walnut Stain.  After removing the stencil, I blended Distress Oxide Antique Linen over the entire piece.

4)  I adhered the lacy colored cardstock diecuts to the corresponding leaf shapes.

5)  To pull the card together, I adhered a piece of burnt orange cardstock to the base.

6) Then layered the stenciled piece on top of the cardstock.

7)  I arranged the leaves as shown and popped them up using Scrapbook Adhesive 3D Foam Strips.

8)  To finish, I stamped a sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps Forever Grateful stamp set on mustard-colored cardstock and cut it out with the corresponding die in the Honey Bee Stamps Forever Grateful die set.
