Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers: Seasonal Frame Spring Card

Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers: Seasonal Frame Spring Card

Posted by Katherine Cartwright on

Hi there! I am sharing a fun spring themed card I created using some products from Honey Bee Stamps including the Seasonal Frame Die set and Seasonal Sentiments Stamps and Dies.

I began my card by die cutting the frame from white cardstock. I ink blended Gathered Twig and Walnut Stain over the frame using my Ranger ink blending tool.

I then die cut all my pieces including my bird, flowers and the vine from card stock and added Distress ink using my Ranger ink blending tool. I used the colors: Twisted Citron, Stormy Sky and Fossilized Amber.

I glued my green vine onto my blended ink frame and adhered this to my patterned paper. The next step was to add my flowers and my bird using 3L Thin foam pieces to add some dimension.

The Honey Bee Seasonal Sentiments "Spring Greetings' was stamped onto white card stock with Seaside ink from PinkFresh and I used the coordinating dies to cut it out.

The patterned paper was glued onto a piece of yellow card stock and a bright green A2 card base. I added the Spring Greetings sentiment using more foam pieces.

My final touch was adding small Honey Bee Pastel Pearls all over my vine.
