Lawn Fawn + Alcohol Ink Card by Katie

Lawn Fawn + Alcohol Ink Card by Katie

Hey there friends, Katie here today with a bright and happy card featuring the new Lawn Fawn Release.  This new release is so much fun and I loved using this Beary Rainy Day Stamp Set. I decided to mix it up and used some alcohol inks for the background.

Here is how I made this- First I stamped the images Beary Rainy Day Stamp Set using my Momento Ink and my Misti on white cardstock.  Then I used the corresponding Beary Rainy Day dies to cut them out.  After that, I colored the images with my Copics (colors listed below).  Then I used my gel pen to add highlights to the images.

Next, I took out a sheet of my Ranger Alcohol Ink Yupo paper and used distress Inks and sprays to add drip colors onto the base.  I used the Alcohol Blending solution to let the ink spread out and used a straw to blow are and push it around.  Then I used my embossing heat gun to dry this.

When this was dry, I put this layer into a cardboard box and spritzed it with White Ink Spray. I let this dry and trimmed it to 4 X 5.25.  I mounted this layer on the white base with foam tape.

Next, I stamped my sentiments on white and die cut the Lawn Fawn Every Day Sentiment Banners.  I mounted all the images and sentiments onto the dried Yupo layer.

Well that is all today, I hope you enjoyed this post.  These are very sweet images and fun to play with.  Check them out in the shop.
