Hey crafty friends!
It’s Dawn Pauley from D Pauley Designs, and today I’m sharing a super fun and spooky interactive Halloween card featuring Lawn Fawn’s Big Hugs Pop-Up Die!
If you love making interactive cards, you are definitely going to want to check this one out. The Big Hugs Pop-Up Die creates an adorable pop-up mechanism that can be used with the included bear pieces, but Lawn Fawn also has add-on dies that let you create other characters.

For today’s card, I’m using the Big Hugs Ghost Add-On to create the cutest little pop-up ghost! 👻
I’m also using the Giant Happy Halloween Die, Spider Web Background, and Sweet Spiders Die Set to create a spooky Halloween scene. For my sentiments, I’m using Catherine Pooler’s Ghostly Greetings, which pairs perfectly with my little ghost.

The Big Hugs Ghost Add-On includes the ghost along with the pieces for the arms, cheeks, and bow/tie.
For the ghost’s face, I die cut the eyes and nose from black cardstock using the face pieces included with the mechanism.
The ghost can have pink cheeks if you want to add them, and the little bow piece can be used as either a bowtie for a boy ghost or a bow for a girl ghost. I decided to use mine as a bowtie.
The best part about the Lawn Fawn Big Hugs Pop-Up Die is that you aren’t limited to just one design. Once you have the mechanism, you can use the different add-ons to create all kinds of fun interactive cards.
This would be such a fun design for Halloween, birthdays, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, or even just a cute “thinking of you” card.
