XOXO! Hi crafty friends! It’s Beata June here, and today I am sharing how I made this heart-filled slimline card featuring the Lawn Fawn Valentine Hearts Border & Giant XOXO Lawn Cuts dies.
Step 1: I diecut the XOXO sentiment using the Lawn Fawn Giant XOXO Lawn Cuts from white cardstock and colored the letters with pink copic markers (RV10, RV11, RV34, RV19). Then I added white highlights to the letters using a white gel pen.
Step 2: I diecut the string of hearts using the Lawn Fawn Valentine Hearts Border Lawn Cuts. I diecut the stitched heart border using white cardstock and diecut the solid background hearts border with pink plaid cardstock. Then I colored the white stitched string of hearts with copic markers (RV10, RV11, RV34), and glued it on top of the pink plaid heart border diecut using a Lawn Fawn glue tube.
Step 3: I stamped the two skunks from the Lawn Fawn Scent With Love stamp set and two piles of hearts from the Lawn Fawn How You Been? Conversation Heart Add-On stamp set using my Misti stamping tool and a Gina K. Designs obsidian amalgam ink pad. Then I colored the images with copic markers.
Skunks: W00, W1, W2, W3, W5, W6, W7, RV10, RV11, RV34
Hearts: RV10, RV11, RV34, RV19
Then, I cut out my colored images and added white highlights using a white gel pen.
Step 4: Next, I cut a black piece of cardstock for my card panel (3¼” x 8”) and splattered it with pink paint.
Step 5: Then I glued my colored and diecut images onto the black cardstock panel using a Lawn Fawn glue tube.
Step 6: To finish my card, I glued my cardpanel onto a piece of pink plaid cardstock (3¾“ x 8½“) using a Lawn Fawn glue tube, and then mounted that onto my slimline cardbase. Here’s another look at my finished card full of hearts!
