Lawn Fawn Little Snow Globe: Dog

Lawn Fawn Little Snow Globe: Dog

Posted by Colleen Beamish on

Hi there! Colleen Beamish here showing how to create a fabulous and interactive shaker card using the Lawn Fawn Little Snow Globe: Dog stamps, dies and Reveal Wheel Add-On. These products were designed to coordinate with the Lawn Cuts Reveal Wheel, but if you don’t have this die set in your crafty collection, there are many other ways to use these Little Snow Globe sets. I was immediately inspired to make a snow globe shaker card!

The background of this card features ink blending, stenciling, and Ranger Stickles Glitter Gel in the color Moon Dust. The Spellbinders Blizzard Stencil combined with that fun sparkle works perfectly with the snow globe theme.

I created my shaker windows by diecutting the snow globe from white heavy weight cardstock multiple times. Each globe is made up of 4 layers of white cardstock, clear acetate, and then topped off with a silver die cut. Two of the globes feature little scenes from the stamp set which I stamped with Gina K. Designs Amalgam Ink then colored with Copic Markers. The center globe features the card’s sentiment, “Winter Wishes” which is heat embossed with silver embossing powder.

To complete the card, I glued down the globe back grounds, covered them with iridescent glitter, and glued the snow globe shaker windows over top.

I just love how this card shakes and sparkles! Go ahead and check out the video to see the full card making process.
